Gary John Christina

Gary John Christina, age 58, died November 29, 2017. He was born June 26, 1959. He was a dearly loved and adored son, brother, uncle, and friend. He was born in Highland Park, MI to his parents John and Emily (nee Lyjak). Those blessed to know this generous, loving man include his brothers Michael (Noreen), Richard (Liz), and Robert (Kathy); His godson and nephew Daniel; his nieces Jaclyn (Casey) Ernst and Jennifer (Josh) Lyon; nephews John and Michael; his Aunt Marie; and many cousins including Betty (Bill) Cummings, and all their extended families whom he has enjoyed celebrating life’s journey with. His family of friends include: Jeff (Shawn) Whittey, Tom (Andrea) Parsons, Marty Warnack and many more who have touched his life and received his gift of companionship and brotherhood. He is also known for his remarkable dog watching skills of Bella and Baxter. Gary was predeceased by his parents John and Emily (nee Lyjak), and several aunts, uncles, and cousins in the Lyjak and Christina family. Visitation Sunday, December 3, 2017 from 3-8 pm at Resurrection Funeral Home, 40800 Hayes, Clinton Township. Instate Monday, December 4, 2017 from 9 am until time of Mass at 9:30 am at St. Michael Catholic Church, 40501 Hayes, Sterling Heights. Gary (Bro) you will be missed by us all…. See you later.
