GERALD EDWARD Jerry died in a motorcycle accident on October 7, 2016. He was born December 2, 1937 to Dorothy and John Shaw in Highland Park, MI. On September 26, 1959 he married Katherine (Kay) Kesman. Their son Scott was born in 1962 and married Ann Marie Herdiech in 1985. They have two sons, Ian and Alec (the lights of Jerry's heart). Son, Christopher (Cheech) was born 1964 and preceded his father in death on September 22, 2004. Jerry was a Computer Science Professor at Macomb Community College for almost 25 years before his retirement in 2003. He loved his motorcycles, playing his guitar and traveling. He will be missed by his 'Little Sis,' Judy Fleming, and many nieces, nephews, and friends. In lieu of flowers donation can be made to The Salvation Army or the charity of your choice.
