Gerald William Smith, age 94, passed away Wednesday, October 7, 2020. He was born on June 22, 1926, in Washington, Pennsylvania to the late John H. & Myrtle (Filer) Smith.

Gerald was a proud WWII Army veteran. He worked for and retired from General Electric. Gerald was a member of the Eagles Post 3619. He was an avid sports fan, especially golf, softball and baseball.

Gerald is survived by his wife of nearly 73 years, Lois; children, Gary (Margaret) Smith; 6 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; his twin sister, Geraldine; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his children, Kathleen and Scott; 4 sisters; and 1 brother.

Visitation for Gerald will be Monday, October 12 from 1-5pm with a 5pm funeral service at Kaul Funeral Home, 35201 Garfield Rd. Clinton Township, MI 48035. Inurnment will be at Resurrection Cemetery, Clinton Township. In Gerald's memory donations can be made to a Dementia organization of your choice.
