She was the loving mother to Zina D. Aguilar, her only daughter and son-in-law Andre Denys. Dear sister to Armondo Calderon, Sally Rendon, Richard Calderon, Ema Herzog, Fred Calderon, Donna Ostenson, Jean Calderon, and Corina Herzog. She is also survived by many other loving relatives. Gloria was born in San Antonio, Texas, and grew up in Mexican Town, in Detroit, Michigan. She started working at a young age, and continued to work her whole life. She worked for GM for 30 years before she retired as an administrative assistant to the plant manager. She was a very strong woman throughout her life. Gloria was a very religious person with a strong faith in God, her faith never wavered.
