Helen Frances Babbitt

Helen Frances Babbitt, age 89, of Clinton Township, Michigan passed away on Saturday, March 11, 2023. Helen was born on January 16, 1934 in Alabama to the late Otha and Gertrude Crutchfield. She retired from KMart after 13 years and was a homemaker to her children and grandchildren. She loved to cook for her family any chance that she could. Helen enjoyed sewing and crocheting as was active for many years at Bethany Baptist Church. She is survived by her daughter, Gayle (the late Larry) Tomison; grandchildren: Kim (John) Tomison, Bill (Kathy) Tomison, and Sandy Williams; and several great-grandchildren. Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Babbitt; sons: Don Williams and Joe Babbitt; daughter, Sandy Williams; and grandson, Rob Williams. The family will greet guests from 10:00am until time of funeral service at 11:00am on Friday, March 17, 2023 at Bethany Baptist Church, 19700 15 Mile Rd., Clinton Twp., Michigan. Pastor Mark Reynolds officiating. Cremation will take place after services with future inurnment at Clinton Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial contributions be directed to Bethany Baptist Church. Flowers may be delivered directly to church the morning of service.
