I'm sorry to say I just found out about Henry's passing.  He was a wonderful man and used to work with my husband years ago when the hospital was still St. Joseph's.  We knew his father when he worked there as well and were saddened by his passing too.  I have had the pleasure of seeing Henry's smiling face and listening to his kind words for twenty plus years at what is now Henry Ford.  I used to see him every day when the linen room was on the second floor.  We were hall neighbors!  He always had a kind and loving demeanor and was loved by all who knew him.  On behalf of myself and my husband, please know that the Fitz family and friends have our deepest sympathies and our prayers.  Henry will be greatly missed by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Made deliveries to the hospital. Henry always took a moment  to make sure everything was going well. He was good at his job and a kind and thoughtful man.

I knew Henry from work. His cheerful greetings and kindness always made my day. I am so sorry for your loss. May God bless today and always.

When I think of Henry, I always picture him smiling.  He was part of one of the nicest families I knew through attending Hazel Park Lutheran Church.  My deepest condolences go out to the family and all those who cared for and will miss him.

Henry was a friendly, easy-going person, who was pleasant EVERY time you saw him.  He took pride in his job, and would often go the extra mile.  He will be missed by all he touched at HFM.

I've known Henry since school age. He would ask his sister to come by the house and drive us to school. Then he drove my brother and I until I got my car. 
We would ride around in his Caprice Classic (which was a sweet car). 
And now that I have moved away we still send Christmas cards and call sometimes. 
He was a good friend, a good man, a good person and that is a rare commodity. Love you Henry, you will be sorely missed.

At a time when I needed a friend, Henry was there. He was my first, best friend. I have so many great memories of our "kid" years and adventures. I know he's in a better place now with Jesus. I'll miss him very much.

Henry was my first true friend at a time when friends were hard for me. He never had a harsh word to say about anyone and we all loved him. In our youth group, he was always there to bring a smile and a laugh. Even though I now live in Utah, when I came back to MI. for a visit, it was like I never left with him. He made time always to visit with me to see how I was. I got Christmas cards from him and family.....every year without fail. My best memories are of him and adventures. I will surely MISS him. RIP  Bud!!
