James Blair Lyons, passed away on August 13, 2013. He loved and was loved by Sarah (wife of 64 years); his children Linda (Mike) Toole, Patrice Lyons, Lori (Jim) Phelps; god child Lisa Jones; grandchildren Dan (Melissa) Toole, Steve (Carrie) Phelps, Andrew (Lyons) Feret, Ken (Megan) Phelps, Kate Toole, and Craig Phelps; great-granddaughters Ana, Isabella, Raven, Elana; siblings Barbara Ganfield, Bette Ann (Marvin) Miller, Sally (the late Al) Franklin, Robert (Rosemary) Lyons, Suzie (John) Cassidy; sister-in-law Mary Keith; also many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. Jim was proud of his service in the Air Force during World War II and his many years working for Comerica Bank. Jim will be missed. Visitation is Saturday 11-3 pm at Kaul Funeral Home, 35201 Garfield, Clinton Twp. Funeral Service to follow visitation at 3 pm. Those who wish may donate in Jim’s name to Michigan Opera Theatre. In accordance with Jim’s wishes, cremation will take place.
