Janice Isabell passed away peacefully on December 19, 2025, at the age of 75. She was the loving and devoted wife of Allen Isabell, a cherished mother to Vanessa (Jeff Bencic) Isabell, Dimitri Isabell, and Victoria (Bradley) Kreger, and beloved sister to Bryan Bette.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Mary Bette, sisters Sharlene Bette and Carolyn Bette, brother-in-law Clarence Isabell, and niece Tiffany Armstrong.
Janice was a proud and beloved grandmother to Ava Methvin, Julia Methvin, Nora Methvin, Austin Methvin, Anderson Kreger, and Isla Kreger. Above all else, Janice treasured her role as “Grandma,” and “Grammy,” finding her greatest joy in time spent with her grandchildren and family.
She enjoyed singing in her church choir, lovingly caring for her two dogs, Ziggy and Zena, and preparing and decorating for Christmas, a season she made especially magical. She loved competing in agility with her shelties over the years. Janice also found peace and happiness planting and tending to her flower gardens, which she was so proud of. She had a love for dressing elegantly, keeping her nails done, and wearing beautiful jewelry, always carrying herself with grace and style.
Janice had a deep appreciation for music and all things Irish, and she especially loved traveling to “her island,” Mackinac Island, a place that held a special space in her heart.
Janice will be remembered for her warmth, her love of family, her joyful spirit, and the many beautiful traditions she created and shared. She leaves behind a legacy of love that will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
