As the AYSO Region 459 VIP Program Administrator & Coaches, we had the pleasure of knowing and interacting with Jason, as well as Liz and Katelyn, at our soccer picture day events.

Jason was always so kind, caring and personable with all our VIP players.  For those that are not familiar, AYSO's  VIP Program is a program for Special Needs players.  Jason and the Jewell Photo family always went above and beyond to make our kids feel special and important.

We as an organization extend our heartfelt condolences to Jason's family, friends and work associates.

His smile and genuine care for others will be missed, but never forgotten.

Jason, words cannot express how heartbroken I am. Some people may not understand the story of us, but they can’t take it away from me, the love we had for each other can never be erased, “so here I go, scream my lungs out to try to get to you”. I will always play our songs, cherish how we fit together so tangled up, I will always crave the scent of your skin. “I will never forget you, you will always be by my side”. I will remember the first time we “set each other on fire”. Our games of never have I ever and I would rather. You will always be my equal. Not a moment will go by where I won’t think of you and miss you. Thank you for the time we got back together. For always understanding me, liking all the same weird things I like. I’m so glad I had the chance to show you off to Missy, to Katie. Dexter and I will miss you and Oliver oh so terribly. And I will always be “right here waiting”, for you. I wish I was “strong enough, for both of us”. RIP my best friend. Goodnight Jason, I love you. 

Jason,

You were one of the kindest, caring and loving individuals I had the pleasure of knowing. For the last three years I have been able to work closely with you as not only my boss, but my mentor and friend. I will miss the days we would sit down at the office and talk for hours when we had the chance. Mostly it was about our love for the Walking Dead or any other random show you insisted I’d watch. You made my bad days good and my good days better with your constant humor and pranks at the office. You were the most selfless friend I had. It is hard knowing you are gone, but your friendship will remain in my heart forever. 


Rest easy my friend.

My name is Victoria  and I am 6 years old. I will miss everything about Jason. He was funny and made me laugh. My favorite memory was when he had a big snowball fight with me and my brother. I will miss knocking on his door and playing games with him. 
One time when we were playing we ran over to his house after he came home from work and Corbin and I were playing with our Christmas Elves and we scared Jason with them. I will miss waving at him and talking to him and telling him about school.  
I’m sad.  

Though it had been a few years since we last talked I thought about you often and I missed you more than you knew.

I am saddened and shocked at the news of your passing . 

You will forever hold a special place in my heart, just as you always did. 

Rest peacefully Jason, you will be missed by so many.

Your smile lit up our hearts with laughter. Thank you for all the wonderful memories and being the best dad/uncle to our whole heart, Brooklynn. We love you and will carry you in our hearts always. 

Jason was one of the kindest souls I have ever met. No matter what type of day he had he would always make time for my kids and the neighbor’s children. He would stop shoveling snow to build a snow fort and have a snowball fight. He would drive down the street and “race” the kids as they ran on the sidewalk next to him. He was always generous and supportive with the kids school fundraisers, the sports (he would come watch Alysa play), and just overall a great neighbor. I will miss him deeply. Such a great individual. Though his time here on earth was short, he made many positive impacts. Rest In Peace Jason. 

Jason was my parents neighbor.  My mother and father were able to get to know Jason through his kind and friendly nature.  Before my mother's death Jason took the time do several favors for her in taking some very old family pictures and making the most wonderful copies for her.  One of those pictures hangs on the wall till this day.  After her passing my father came across a picture of my mother as a young woman and he asked Jason to blow it up and make a copy.  In his ever lovely way, he again did the favor.  What a talent he possessed.
My father is 88.  He enjoyed walking over and having conversations with Jason.  As always Jason was kind in listening to my father.
He's a wonderful soul that will be missed.
