Joan Arlene Masty

Joan A. Masty, age 65, passed away May 22, 2019. Beloved daughter of the late Helen and Fred Rieck; loving mother of Robert Scott (Elizabeth), Renee (Andrew) Smith and Nicole (Jason Dolland); dear grandmother of Nathaniel, Theodore, Joshua, Ethan and Eliza. Joan is survived by sisters Elaine (Darrell) Youness and Julie (Dave) DeHem. She is also survived by nieces and nephews Dalaine (Sam) Charters, Melissa (Derek) Ball, Dillon Charters and Ayden Ball.

Joan loved to garden, play solitaire and collect rocks and coins. Above all she enjoyed spending time with and spoiling her grandchildren. She enjoyed copious amounts of coffee and reading; at times it was like the book was part of her arm! Joan will be missed by all who knew her.
