

He was a proud Veteran serving in the Army and Air Force in WWII. John was a Pattern Maker with Detroit Pattern Makers Association for over 40 years. He enjoyed playing golf and spending his winters in Florida with his Companion Mavis Mott.
John is survived by his loving and caring daughter, Dianne (Jerry) Tegler; his loving and adored grandchildren, Michelle Tegler- Pacholke and Michael (Natalia) Tegler; Great grandchildren, Stephanie, Andrew and Joseph; Sister, Shirley Shindler, also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and friends. Sadly, he was preceded in death by his loving wife of 32 wonderful years, Virginia; siblings, Bonnie(Chuck) Becker, George (Doris)Patterson and Roger (Francis) Patterson and his brother-in-law, Byron Shindler.
Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, January 8th, 10:00 a.m. at Kaul Funeral Home 35201 Garfield Road, Clinton Twp. (586-792-5000). The family will receive guests on Tuesday from 2-9 p.m. at the funeral home. Entombment Mt Olivet, Detroit. Memorials suggested to the Departmentof Veterans Affaairs John D.
