He was preceded in death by parents John and Elizabeth Follmer and brother Jim Follmer. Joseph is survived by his loving wife Ruth; children Robert (Pat Czekiel) and Karen (Thomas) Watt; grandchildren Lauren and Alec; and brother John (Anne) Follmer.
In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations to the Ted B. Wahby Cancer Center.
