Joseph Goossens, age 99, passed away January 30, 2013. He was born December 24, 1913 in Belgium. He was a WWII veteran, and worked most of his life as a brick layer. He is survived by his loving wife Shirley; children Sandra Parmentier, Charlotte (Zvonko) Severinac, and the late Joseph. He is survived also by his daughter-in-law Linda Goossens, seven grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Visitation will be Friday from 3-9:00PM with a rosary at 7:00PM at Resurrection Funeral Home, 40800 Hayes Road, Clinton Township, MI 48038 and Saturday 9:30AM until time of mass at 10:00AM at St. Francis of Assisi - St. Maximilian Kolbe Catholic Church 62811 New Haven Rd. Ray Township, MI 48096. Burial will be at Christian Memorial Cemetery West, Rochester Hills, MI.
