Josephine Girgenti, age 92, of St. Clair Shores, Michigan went to her heavenly home with family by her side on December 5, 2024. She was the eternally beloved mother of George and Maria (Joseph); cherished grandmother of Rick Kelpin, Lora Ketelhut (Jack), Joe (Dawn) Kelpin and Anthony Kelpin; treasured great-grandmother of Angelina, Natalie, Rachel, Jack and Ella; also survived by Barbara Girgenti a host of loving nieces and nephews. Josephine was preceded in death by her husband, George in 1999, and by her son George in 2014.
Josephine’s family was most precious to her. Her children were her world, and her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were the light and joy of her life. She praised and loved God for her life’s blessings, especially the gift of family. Josephine will be deeply missed.
Josephine will be laid to rest with her late husband at Resurrection Cemetery in Clinton Township, Michigan. A memorial and celebration of life will be held on Sunday, January 5, 2025 at 2 PM at Christ Community Church, 25410 Kelly Road, Roseville Michigan 48066.
