Judy, age 67, of Berlin Twp., Michigan, passed away peacefully on July 8th, 2025, surrounded by loved ones. Born on July 12, 1957, in Detroit, she lived a life marked by strength and a deep love for her family and friends.
Judy was known for her straightforwardness, her bravery, and her kindness. Judy enjoyed camping, crafting, spending time in her garden, and with family and friends. After spending many years in the banking world, Judy returned to school in her 50s and earned her college degree. She went on to become a medical assistant. Judy has been married to the love of her life, Roger, for 50 years, and they were to celebrate their 51st wedding anniversary in August. They raised three successful children, and she cherished her time with her grandchildren. To know her was to be welcomed, understood, and cared for.
She is survived by her husband, Roger; her children, Keith (Jenny), Adam (Renee), and Miranda (Adam); and her grandchildren, whom she loved so much: Jared, Jamie, Noah, Owen, and, from afar, Martina; her siblings: William (Laura) Palazzolo, Therese (Michael) Sharon, Patrice (Michael) Helms, Katherine (Andrew) Waseleski, and Vince (Shelia) Palazzolo; sister-in-law, Shelly Palazzolo; brother-in-law, Victor Colombo; as well as many nephews and nieces. Judy was predeceased by her mother and father, Constance and Vincent Palazzolo; sister, Christine Colombo; and brother, Dominic Palazzolo.
The family will greet guests from 2:00pm until 8:00pm on Sunday, July 13, 2025 at Kaul Funeral Home, 35201 Garfield Rd., Clinton Twp., Michigan. A Celebration of Judy's Life will be held at 11:00am on Monday, July 14 at the above location. All who knew and loved Judy are welcome to attend and celebrate her life.
