It is with tremendous sadness to announce that Karen Jaworski passed away on Friday, April 24th, 2021. She is survived by her husband Thomas Jaworski, sons Jeffrey and Thomas (Kristi) Jaworski, and her grandchildren, Brittany, Braden, Emily, Brooke and Natalie Jaworski. She is also survived by her brothers Thomas, Richard, Jim and Larry Lee. Karen is preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Vincent Lee and twin sister, Sharon Lee.
Karen worked for Chippewa Valley Schools for over 20 years in the Media Center. She was very respected and well-liked by everyone she worked with and was known to be extremely helpful, funny and kind.
Karen was married to Thomas Jaworski in 1968 and enjoyed a special 50th anniversary with their children and grandchildren. Karen and Tom shared a wonderful life together.
Karen had many friends and enjoyed spending time with them whether it was a luncheon, dinner or a phone call. She never forgot a birthday and was a thoughtful friend to all. Karen loved her family and especially enjoyed spending time with them during the holidays. Karen’s greatest joy in life was her grandchildren. She was affectionately known as “Grandma Karen” and loved attending school events, concerts, and sporting events cheering them on. She loved to show pictures of her grandchildren and share their triumphs to friends and family and treasured spending time with each and every one. Grandma Karen was very loved by her grandchildren and the memories made will never be forgotten.
Karen was truly loved by all and will be very missed. May she Rest In Peace.
The family will greet friends at Kaul Funeral Home of Clinton Township on Wednesday, April 28th from 1:00pm until 8:00pm. Karen will be laid to rest at Great Lakes National Cemetery on Thursday, April 29th. Fond memories and online condolences may be offered to the family at www.KaulFuneraLHome.com
