It is with great sadness that while looking up old friends on the internet, I saw Karen's obituary. I grew up with her brother Brian and spent endless hours at their home playing games, making model boats, and "playing Army" with the rest of the Tyrone St. posse that included Jim Barett, Herb Von Pagels, Eddy Zobak and others. It was a great time to be a kid, and Mr. and Mrs Sedik made it all the better by always welcoming the neighborhood kids into their home. For us, Karen was Brian's sweet and innocent younger sister, and we always found interest in making cakes in her Easy-Bake oven (lol!) May God bless her soul. Her memory is cherished. 

Karen was a beautiful spirit that kept me laughing at Blue Cross. Just to see that infectious smile lit up my day. I was sooooo sorry to hear of her passing and pray that God gives her entire family the comfort and healing they need in the days, months and years ahead. Know that her Blues family loved her and we are sooooo happy she crossed paths in our lives. God bless all of her family and may she continue to rest in JESUS sweet arms.

I have a lifetime of memories of my cousin, Karen. I remember spending  the night over her house when I was 5 or 6 years old.   We were always baking cookies or playing with her Barbie dolls.  Listening to Uncle Gus playing the accordion on holidays and dancing in the basement. Then, as an adult, dancing at weddings of all the family members. Celebrating 60 Christmas’s together.  Karen was always a part of my life. Always there to hug, wish happy birthday to, and Merry Christmas . And more recently, as she became ill, I was able to hug her and tell her I love her.  I’m so happy she was a part of my life and I will miss her so much in the days ahead.
