Karl F. Tropf

Karl is survived by his wife, Catherine Tropf; children, Linda Tropf, Debbie Tropf, and Mike (Jennie) Tropf. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Stephani (Keith), Monica (Matt), Katie (Steve), Megan (Lance), and Jessica (Charles); great-grandchildren, Brendan, Owen, Lidia, Evelyn, Ryan, Matthew, Cecilia, Lucille, and CJ, as well as two great-grandchildren on the way; and his sister, Phyllis (Joe) Schulte.

Karl owned and operated his own construction business until age 62, when he retired. He proudly served in the United States Army, from which he was honorably discharged. Karl was a member of the Knights of Columbus and Fraternal Order of Eagles.

A visitation will take place Thursday, August 18 from 2:00 pm until 9:00 pm at Resurrection Funeral Home; 40800 Hayes Road, Clinton Township, MI 48038. A Rosary will take place at 7:00 pm. The Memorial Mass will be Friday, August 19 at 9:30 am, with an Instate period at 9:00 am, at St. Michael Catholic Community; 40501 Hayes Road, Sterling Heights, MI 48313. Following the service, there will be a procession to Resurrection Cemetery for a Committal Service and Military Honors.
