Kent was a great role model and talented athlete.I will always remeber his infectious smile and kind hello to everyone.He gave the class of 1971 many great memories.I will always remeber you and our fellow classmates who have gone way too soon. God speed Kent!

What a loss for the Fraser community. I got to know Kent through Coach MacDonald. It was obvious from the way Ross spoke, that he was one of his favorites. I later got to know Kent during my year coaching at DeLaSalle and later at Ross's golf outing. What a great coach. He had such a great demeanor. Everyone loved him. What a great man. He will be missed.

We will definitely share many toasts and stories about Kent this summer at the MacDonald outing.

Please accept my sympathy for the loss of your loved one. I know many of Kirk's  UPS coworkers are thinking of him.

Bill, Michael, Paige and I are so very sorry to hear of Kent's passing. Since we have lived away from Michigan for over 20 years, whenever we would come to town he makes it a point to come and see us. We will miss his warm loving nature and that smile. Bill has truly lost a good friend. Our sincere condolences to the Brown Family. Kent will be greatly missed by The Hayduk Family.

I was so sorry to hear about Kent this morning through one of my sisters. Kent was truly a first class, humble guy who I enjoyed in high school and thereafter whether on a golf trip or a visit from him and others out of town. I hadn't seen Kent in years. When I think back to the FHS years, which in seems like yesterday when you hear news like this, he'd be one of my fellow grads I'd always think about and wonder how he was doing. God bless you, Kent.

How sad to hear of Kent's untimely passing. He was a positive force to Fraser High School athletics contributing first as a Hall of Fame athlete and later as a dedicated coach. Kent and the entire Brown Family have long been friends of Fraser High School going back to the days of Dr. Charley serving as the first Athletic Booster Club president. The family has been integral to establishing Fraser Athletic Pride. Losing Kent is losing a Fraser Family member. All associated with Fraser Athletics mourn this loss. Our prayers are with the Browns.

My memories of Kent go way back to growing up just a couple of streets away from him.  My wife, Jo, and I graduated with him in 1971 from Fraser and then I kept in touch with him sporadically through the years most recently at the Charlie Brown golf outings.  Like everyone, I knew Kent as a funny, considerate guy who was always fun to be around.  My condolences to his entire family.  You will be missed!!

My association with Kent relates to playing softball with his sisters, his days as a Fraser Football Coach and as part of the Fraser family.  Kent was inducted into the FHS Hall of Fame with my brother-in-law, Eddie. They were teammates and friends.  He will be remembered fondly as a sweet, gentle soul.  Our sympathy goes to out to all of his family and friends.  Rest in peace, Kent.

I have shared so many great times with Kent like coaching football at De La Salle, selling Christmas trees at the Plant Station, going to Hazel Park Race Track to bet the horses, or just enjoying a beer!  

One thing you could count on is that Kent always had a smile on his face and a calm and pleasant demeanor.

When we were building our house I asked Kent for some help and there was absolutely no hesitation to lend a hand--What a great friend!!

For those that knew Kent--we were the lucky ones!

Some of my favorite memories of FHS were laughing with Kent.  We had a great friendship for many years and I will miss his smile, and humor..Cheryl (Richard) Morris

I worked at Mt Jacks with Kent back in the 80's.  We had some fun evenings outside of work going downtown to hang out with Susie "B" at various clubs.  Kent was a sweet and considerate guy. Such a good hearted soul!  I am so saddened by the news that he is departed. He was a very devoted dad and my prayers are being sent to his daughter and all of his other family members and friends.  Rest in peace my friend.

My memories of Kent go way back to his softball days when he played for the Banas Paint team along with his brothers and friends.  He was an extraordinary athlete, but more than that, he was an extraordinary person.  He personified gentleness, kindness and appreciation  for all things good.  In his own quiet way, he shared himself and his talents with others.  Kent was an important part in my grandsons (Matthew and Joseph) lives.  They will greatly miss their Uncle Kent, as will all of us who knew him for the good person he was.  My heart aches for all of you.......I am so sorry for the loss of your son, brother and uncle.  My prayers are with you.

In December, 1995 a man dressed as Santa Claus arrived unexpectedly at our house during our son's 4th birthday party. We let him in. He knew all the kids names and had a gift in his bag for each. The kids did not know what to say. They were speechless. After he left we asked who he was. At first everyone said they didn't know. Then our neighbors, Bev and Sandy DeVries, said they had asked a friend, Kent Brown, to play Santa. He changed at the neighbor's house and came back to visit and has been a friend since. He did something very special on a Saturday afternoon in 1995 that no one will forget. Peace be with you.
