Leonard Daniel Stress, age 90, of Clinton Twp, Michigan, passed away August 28, 2023. Leonard was born on March 10, 1933, in Detroit, MI. After High School Leonard was drafted in 1951 and served in the Army during the Korean war through 1952 and was honorably discharged in 1953. In the late 1950's he attended vocational school, received his certification, and was hired by Chrysler Corporation as an interior design engineer where he remained for 28 years, after which he worked for General Motors before retiring in 1998.
During that time Leonard owned a professional photography studio, was an avid martial arts student, an exceptional bowler and participant of the regional bowlers tour. He loved golf, woodworking, and music. He was also a Detroit sports fan.
Leonard is survived by his son Daniel, his nieces Christine and husband Gary, Shirley and husband Bill, Rebecca, his nephew David, and their children. He was preceded in death by his wife Kathleen, his parents Marion and Lottie Stress, his sisters Mary and Regina, and his brother Edward.
