RIP Linda Jean , Linda was so proud of all her nieces, nephews and extended family. We had many chats in which this became very clear. We shared many hilarious moments and then it was the "ONLY THIS COULD HAPPEN TO LINDA MOMENTS" You will be missed greatly by all, especially your Canadian cousins. You are in our hearts forever.. To: Linda          What Will I Do?
I have known you for over forty-four years.  We have been best friends for most of that time. Whenever something major happened you were there.  We used each other for “grounding” our thoughts.  You or I would call with our situation in our voice.  Before the next word was spoken we knew the path the other was on.  We giggled, raged or cried at the way of our lives.  I knew I could reach out to you at any time and you would be there. 
Now, what will I do?
We would call each other on Christmas morning to open our presents together. We laughed and oohed over a variety of gifts.   You never forgot to send gifts for my three kittens as well.  Your Christmas cards were always headed with Dear Sister and somehow you were able to get my cats to send me a card addressed to Mommy.  
Now, what will I do?
You were the one who came to my house to tell me that Ken had died.  I sobbed, bent over the kitchen counter while you stood stolidly by me waiting out the tears.  We talked each other through that night and the next days when the grief washed over us.  
I knew to call you, now what will I do?
You were the one sitting across the bed from me when I cradled my dying Mother in my arms and when I looked up at you in my anguish; you had tears in your eyes.  You were the one who knew to take control at just the right time to deal with the doctors, the funeral arrangements. 
I knew you would be there, now what will I do.
‘We laughed until we cried and cried until we laughed' at the antics of our families and friends.  We confessed the hurt they caused us and the pain we caused them.  I would talk to you about those things that I never spoke of to anyone else.  
Now, what will I do?
When I heard you were gone, I walked for three hours in the North Carolina woods and talked to you out loud.  Could you hear me?  I cried and walked and remembered that you were my ground; I could always count on you.  I kept asking you; “What will I do?”  I wanted to be able to call you to tell you about my pain but you can't be there. If you were, you would have called me last night to see how I was doing.  We would have talked for an hour or so and cried and laughed until we were on solid ground again. I really knew you were gone when the phone didn't ring.
Now, what will I do? What will I do without you?

I worked with Linda at Macomb County CMH and she always had a kind spirit.  Truly a christian woman who loved her church, gave to others, and opened her heart to all.  A great example for all.  She will be missed!  Condolences to the family that she so fondly spoke of often.

 Thank you so much for always being there for me. I remember spending more time at your house than my own with you and Amanda lol. So many awesome memories in your basement on Maxlow. All the fun sleepovers we had. You also took Amanda and I to church and that turned my outlook on life around to something greater. You were always someone that I knew I could call if I just needed someone to lean on.  I miss you so much already. I know that heaven has gained a wonderful, priceless angle. Give Amanda a huge hug for me because I'm sure your with her now.  I love you so much ma and thank you for being part of my life and loving me like one of your own kids. I feel special that you considered me as one of your many kids. It's been a blessing to have you in my live.  I love you so much. RIP ma ????

Linda Jean was a fun loving, caring, creative person that I was very lucky to have known for many years. She always had a smile on her face and an awesome sense of humour. She spent time at the family cottage back in the day, and I remember going to her place as a child. Her famous tacos. She also spent time visiting in Pembroke at my Nana Ritchie's . My great uncle "Unk"  as everyone knew him always enjoyed her cottage visits as did we all. She will be missed greatly. Sending condolences . Lisa (Weckwerth)

Linda was a very special person who was welcomed at 'Birch Grove Haven' (our cottage on Lake Clear, Ontario) whenever she visited. Unk Eric thought highly of her, as did the rest of our family. Many fond memories remain. Not the least of which was the time she got lost/stranded on Hardwood Point while on a walk in our nearby woods. A boat rescue was accomplished.
Although only a few of her 'Canadian Family' can pay our respects in person, we are, and always will be, with her in spirit.
I'm sure that there are gallon sized cups of Iced Tea in Heaven.
We miss you.

Have only known Linda a few years but she touched every ones heart in a special way. We will miss her very much. We offer our  condolences to her entire family. We miss her already but know we will one day see her again.

Loved Linda she was always such a blessing to all. So glad God gave us such a lovely lady.  I will miss seeing her.  I didn't get to see her often enough.  I'm sure she is in our Lord's heaven now.  We will see her again. Blessings to family and friends in time of loss.

Linda and I were neighbors for 15 years and I couldn't ask for a better person to be my friend.  We shared many rides together on Woodward Avenue during the many Dream Cruises that we both attended.  She will be greatly missed.  No one led a better life than she did.

Linda and I met in Hazel Park Jr. High 7th grade, we have been dear friends for many many years.  She was so very special, I will miss her daily.  She will be a Great Angel in heaven!  Love her loads!

We  loved Linda and will truly miss our conversations and occasional visit. We loved the times she came down to the Phoenix area for a break from the Michigan weather since we moved in 2003. But those visits weren't often enough. We thank God we were able to return till Michigan and spend four days with her. We had such a beautiful visit and renewed our sister relationship again. Thank you Jesus that we had that time and the beautiful memories made and renewed. See you on Heaven...I know you are celebrating your reunion with your parents, other family and the many friends gone before. See you soon...He is coming back so won't be long.
