Lorraine “Margie” Piasecki , age 94 died December 4, 2014 peacefully in her sleep and was active until her last days. She was born in Detroit in 1920 and spent much of her life, as a resident of Hamtramck. Besides helping at her late husband’s Tavern in Hamtramck, “Shy & Reds”, she was involved in many activities at St. Florian’s Church. Beloved mother of Linda Kint (nee Piasecki) and daughter in law Marlene Beck (nee Stone - Piasecki). Grandmother of Sue Meinier (nee Grucz), Joseph Grucz, Kim Grucz, Brian Piasecki, Nicole Piasecki, Alex Kint, Joseph Kint and Lillia Kint; great grandmother of Adriana Piasecki, Addison Piasecki and Joseph Piasecki - Lacy. Proceeded in death by her husband Joseph of 43 years, son Joseph, daughter Pat, grandsons James Grucz, John Grucz and grand-daughter Jackie Bondy. Lorraine lead a full life and will truly be missed by all. Visitation Thursday 2-7pm with a 6 pm service at Resurrection Funeral Home, 40800 Hayes Road, Clinton Township, 48038.
