She is one of the first ppl I met at Farmers she taught me how to drink coffee ☕😌 she was always so helpful and it was always a pleasure to see her when I entered the office the days that I would come in and she wasn't there time went by so slowly and I would always watchy ⌚ hoping she would be there ♥️ I loved me some Lie we continue to keep in touch and I would always send my ppl to her for insurance after I left Farmers. Sending prayers and condolences to your family this morning Lou what can I say I've known you for so long well over 40 years working with you at Secretary of State and the NCNW, under your leadership. A beautiful person inside and out, a beautiful angel gone to soon, but will never be forgotten. 

Lue, what can I say about my friend that I have known for 55 years. We were not family but it sure felt like it.  I am so very thankful that the Lord guided our paths and we met in our neighborhood as teens. Thank you for being my friend.  Lue was very classy, gracious and special. I will miss her, but I know she is in a better place. To Leylan and Family I am very sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Lue, I was always cherish the wonderful times we had together especially during your leadership and tenure with the NCNW organization.  You were loving and caring woman who believed in doing things in an excellent way.  My condolences of sympathy to the family and praying for your continued strength in your time of loss and sorrow!

A wonderful person and classmate, and awesome friend.  I have only positive reflections and joyful memories as I celebrate her life.  She dignified the class of "73"  MCHS.  Heaven is the better and earth is the lesser with her departure.  May God grant comfort and peace  to the family.  Weeping endures for a night, but joy comes in the morning.. Lue was like a sister to me she loving and caring and kind and sweet I'm surely truly going to miss her a lot and she sure is loved a lot by me and my daughter Danielle.

All the times hanging out with Lonnie there was millions of memories that I could speak about this but here is the first one.

I was out outside just being bored as a kid walking around the neighborhood and I see people moving in down the road. I'm going to go introduce myself and see if they have a kid that lives here and if he wants to have a new friend. So I walk up bayham towards the school, cross the street, wave to Mr. Bill. I make my way up to the driveway. I stop take a deep breath and walk up to the door.  I ring the doorbell and wait. Lue answered the door. 

 Hi I'm Adam. Do you have a kid that lives here? 

I'm just nervous as all, waiting on an answer. Thinking to myself oh my am I'm embarrassed I shouldn't have...

She answered yes.

And that's how I met her and her fabulous family and friends. 

An amazing woman gone way too soon. She always treated me and my girls like family. I love u, rest in paradise
