Family was everything to Marilyn. She lived her life devoted to those she loved most—finding joy in caring for them, feeding them with delicious home-cooked meals, and creating a warm, welcoming home. She had a gift for keeping things tidy and took pride in her home, always finding comfort in the details.
A fan of baseball and football, she could often be found cheering on the Detroit Tigers and the Detroit Lions. Her happy place, though, was always the farm on White Rock Rd—a beloved retreat where she found peace, joy, and countless cherished memories.
Marilyn will be remembered for her unwavering love, her quiet strength, and her kind, giving heart. Her legacy lives on in the family she adored and the traditions she so lovingly passed down. She will be deeply missed.
Marilyn is survived by her children: Yvonne, Connie (Dan), and Michael; grandchildren: Sarah, Anthony (Kayla), Michael (Haley), and Danny (Brynn); great grandchildren: Kaylin and Abigail; and siblings: Tony (Pat) and Audrey. She is preceded in death by her husband, Jerome, and parents: Anthony and Anna Sawielski.
