Mary Frances "Franny" Dawson, age 86, of Warren, Michigan passed away, from a heart attack, on Thursday, January 23, 2025. She was born April 12,1938 in Beckley, West Virginia to the late Stephen and Hazel Josephen (Ellison) Horwath.
Franny was a stubborn, quirky and spunky woman. She delighted in making ornaments, fill-it-in puzzles, and scratching lottery tickets. She enjoyed traveling to West Virginia to see family and friends. Franny truly loved her family and spending time with them.She will be missed by all who knew her.
Franny is survived by her daughter Donna (Marc) Dawson-Stockberger; her grandchildren, Jaclyn (Tim Wolf) Brown, Jeremy (Lydia) Brown; great-grandchildren, Kayla Zygaj, Devon Brown, Surina Brown, Sofia Brown; and her sisters, Launa Ellen Dunford, Nova Sue Cantley. She was preceded in death by her parents; and brothers, Edwin Horwath, Jimmie Horwath, Richard Horwath and James David Horwath.
