Mary was so much fun at Euchre. I didn't know her for a long time, but she was lots of fun, generous and a great sport. This is so sad. I will miss Mary.

I am so sorry to hear about your mother's passing. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

Mary taught me so many things about what it means to serve with compassion and kindness. She taught so many of us nurses how to care for our patients and each other with a little extra love, sweetness and good humor. It's been almost a decade since I've seen her but I can still remember how it felt to have a mom-hug from Mary, especially when things got hard in the ICU. I will carry her in my heart for the rest of my days. Love you Mary!

I was a resident at McLaren Macomb while Mary was an ICU RN. She was so kind, full of life and heart. She loved her coworkers, she treated us residents with kindness and grace, and loved her family so much. To Mary’s family- I am so very sorry for your loss.

I enjoyed playing euchre with Mary for several years. I really liked having her as a partner…I could always count on her to save me.

My condolences to Mary's family for the loss of such a lovely woman. I had the pleasure of meeting Mary through Henry Ford as one of her nurses. We would talk often about her family and just "life". I had the pleasure of meeting Mary a few years ago when her friend Todd brought her along to play euchre with our group. She became a welcome addition to our once a month gathering. She had a great personality & fit right in. She could also be counted on to bring a special treat to the snack table whenever we played. Her presence will be sorely missed....rest in peace Mary....my sincerest condolences to her family.

My heart is breaking right now! Mary was a good friend of mine. She was always there for me. We would go camping together talk for hours on the phone . She would sew things for me. She was the first person to come into my hospital room when I called her crying when I found out I had cancer. She sat in there and held my hand. We prayed, and she said you will  get through this .After  my treatment, she would call me Ask me how I was doing. Bring me lunch always check to make sure I was OK. I will always treasure my memories with Mary and will miss her deeply . Rest in peace my dear friend !

The love and joy poured out by this sweet lady is immeasurable.  She made an impact on my daughter and family.  Numbers 6:24-26

     We are so shocked and saddened by your mother's passing.  She was so proud of you and her grandchildren.  Mary was an important part of the Stenzel family for over 50 years and we enjoyed bowling, playing cards and just talking with her.  May her memory be a blessing.

Condolences to the family and the many friends and nurses that Mary touched. It was an absolute pleasure to work with Mary in CDU at McLaren and Bronchoscopy at Henry Ford Hospital. Mary always had everyone’s back, a friendly ear and a mom hug when you needed it. Mary will be so missed.

We will miss Mary so much! We enjoyed many dinners and shows at the Fischer. Amazing memories with Mary. Unfortunately, Mary got stuck by a crazy lady at Cats who was dressed in full cat gear and purred and meowed the entire show. The dramatic eye rolls from Mary and her commentary was hilarious and made our night. ❤️

Mary loved her grandkids above all else. Here she is cuddling 2 of her granddaughters after a long day of shopping at Birch Run.

Mary never met a stranger. Here she is with famous author Adriana Trigiani. Mary didn’t think twice about striking up a conversation with her and they bonded over their Italian heritage.

Mary was a dear friend and colleague for all our years at Mt Clemens General. She was kind, caring always concerned about others. 
I’ll miss the hugs she always gave so freely .

I was so saddened to hear of Mary passing.  Had worked with her since Mclaren Macomb was Mt Clemens General   What a wonderful, kind, caring nurse.  She will be so very missed.

I worked with Mary in the ICU at Mt Clemens.
She was so kind, and sent me a beautiful card last year when I was sick. Will always remember her  smiling face.

I send my deepest condolences to Mary’s family. Mary’s kindness and concern for others shined through. We made homemade cards together. In January, I asked her more about her family. She spoke of her children and grandchildren with such love.
