Mrs. Maureen Matthews age 77, a resident of Sterling Heights for over 20 years, passed away at William Beaumont Hospital, Troy, MI. She was born in Liverpool, England. She worked for many years as a receptionist at Bob Thibodeau Ford and was an Avon representative for over 20 years. Family members said she loved to travel. She is survived by her husband Stanley; son Steven (Jackie); grand children Leah (Virgil) Wilson, Nicholas Matthews, and Autumn Matthews; great granddaughter Alexa Wilson; siblings Mavis (James) Coldock, Hillary (Kenneth) Williams, and Albert Kemp. Visitation will be Sunday, from 2-8:00PM, with a funeral service 11:30AM Monday at Resurrection Funeral Home, 40800 Hayes Road, Clinton Township, MI 48038.
