Tomorrow will be one year since you left us and right now it feels like we just lost you all over again. I am sitting here looking at our old pictures and as i sit here and cry I realize that's all I'll ever be able to do is look at old pictures, because there won't ever be a new picture. I miss you so incredibly much it hurts!

Hi Babe,
I'm just sitting here thinking about you.  I wish I could talk to you and hear your voice again.  Our baby girl is here.  The journey of being a new parent has been good, but it would be alot better if you were here to expirience it with me.  Michaela does alot of cute things that I know would make you laugh.  Here is a picture of her.  Her shirt says "mommy and i agree, daddy's charming"

Mommy misses you very much.  We love you.

Michael you will be missed by us all.  We loved you more than you ever knew.  Your memory will live on through your child and we will be here as a family to help jade raise him or her in a loving environment.  Till we meet again.

Michael even though we were neighbors for years and I watched you, Krystal and Jimmy grow up. I didn't know you very well. You were the quiet one of all three of you. I did know you were a great kid and you will surely be missed, by many. May you rest in peace and my prayers go out to you and your family.

May you finally rest in peace. We'll continue to miss you. Keep watching out for us and continue to give us all strength.

This is still so hard for me to believe, I miss you so much it hurts! I wish I could hug you, talk to you, and tell you how much you mean to me and how much I love you one more time.

I wrote this the day we said our last goodbyes...

Today is the Fall Equinox, a day of balance between light and dark, and I am reminded that we must all always be thankful for what we have been given. At any moment our lives can be thrown off the path we have been walking, and the ground we must tread to find our way again can be shattered and difficult to navigate. 

Today is a day to honor the Earth as it goes dark, she is going to sleep. For me, it was also a day to honor a dear friend, as he was laid to rest, such a fitting day. Just as Demeter mourned the loss of her daughter, Persephone, as she descended into the Underworld, we mourn the loss of him. These next 6 months will not only be darkness for the Earth, but for my heart, and for every heart his life touched, as well.

Take comfort, however, in knowing that the light must return to the Earth, and so it shall return again to our lives and hearts. We will see him again. This is not goodbye, only a moment without him. 

My you rest in the peace you so dearly needed, and we will see you again.

Mike!! You were so fun to work with down at the Airport, and you worked so hard and fast it blew everybody away.  Helping everyone when they needed it!
Also I was very proud to have you with my Daughter Jade.  You will be missed more than you ever thought, and I wish you much peace!

This still doesn't seem real to me.  I miss you more with every day that goes by.  You were the love of my life and the best friend anyone could ask for.  I am going to miss our many trips to Frankenmuth, our long walks, watching hours of storage wars together, going to stoney creek, going to the dollar show because we are too cheap to go to MJR.  I could go on and on and probably write an entire book about everything I am going to miss about you.  Most of all I am going to miss coming home and seeing your beautiful face every day and getting a big hug and kiss.  I love you so much more than you could ever imagine.  You left a huge hole in my heart by leaving this earth.  I pray that they are taking good care of my babe up there.  I will miss you and think about you everyday, until we meet again.
