Paul Vincent Zombo, age 62, passed away on February 25, 2026. Paul was born on March 30, 1963, and was a resident of Macomb, Michigan. He will be remembered as a loyal, hard-working, reliable, handyman who loved his family above all else and took great pride in being a father.
Paul worked for Macomb Mechanical as a Warehouse Manager for many years, earning the respect of those who knew him through his steady dedication and dependable nature. Known for being able to fix almost everything, he brought that same reliability to every part of his life.
Paul married Lisa in 1992 at St Thecla Catholic Church, and together they built a life centered on family.
Paul enjoyed the outdoors and the simple joys of being in the sun. He loved swimming and beaches, fishing, and trips - especially family trips to North Carolina. A lifelong sports fan, he loved football, especially the Lions, and also followed the Detroit Red Wings. He enjoyed music, particularly rock from the 60s, 70s, and 80s, and liked going to concerts. He also loved coins and collecting them, gardening - especially planting flowers for his beloved wife, Lisa - and spending time with his adored dog, Holly. He enjoyed bike riding and rollerblading and was beginning to find a growing interest in golf.
Paul is survived by his wife, Lisa; children: Paul, Rebecca, and Charles; mother, Roseanne; and siblings: Judy (Mike) and Justine (Mike). He is preceded in death by his father, Paul Pat.
A visitation for Paul will be held at Resurrection Funeral Home, 40800 Hayes Road, Clinton Township, MI 48038, on March 4, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
