Raymond Brooks, age 83, passed away July 8, 2016. He was the beloved husband of the late Eileen; loving father of Carolann (Russ) Jimison, Brenda (Dennis) Young, Richard (Lisa), and Lisa (Gordon Jr.) Russell; devoted grandfather of Jeff, Leslie (Noah), Julia, Rachel, Natalie, Jonathan, David, Gordon III (Lydia), and Brett; dear brother of Donna Crawford and David (Maryann).
Raymond was proud of his work as a teacher and principal in the L'Anse Creuse School District. He was also a longtime member of Bethany Baptist Church and served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. Raymond was active with his Gideon’s group. In his spare time, he loved boating and fishing with a passion.
Visitation Tuesday, July 12, 2:30 – 9 p.m. at Kaul Funeral Home, 35201 Garfield, Clinton Twp. Funeral Service 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 13, with gathering starting at 9:30 a.m. at the funeral home.
