If you were around dear sweet Rita you would have a great smile on your face!
I loved her like another mother as my parents lived in Texas.

I just found out Rita passed away and I used to have so much fun with her, her daughter Debbie and her siblings we used to celebrate Xmas eve with each other going back and forth for many years..  She was fun and I remember going to cedar point with our families.  She loved her children and was a great mother.  I am sure she will be greatly missed by all!! How wonderful it would be to live in a world where life can be enjoyed in perfect health and happiness. Hold on to your fond memories of Rita as they will keep you comfort during this time of great sorrow.

I am so sorry for your loss.  I have many fond memories of your mom.  She was a wonderful lady who brought sunshine with her wherever she went.  My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time.

Since I have only known Rita from American House since February of this year, it was so nice to see the photos posted. A true classy lady who will remain special in my heart, one who inspires me to say no matter what you go through in life, keep on going, and enjoy every day, especially the sunshine! If I did the simplest thing for her, she would place her hand on my cheek and say "thank you", I am forever grateful that I was able to know her, even for a short time. My sympathy to her lovely family. I'm going to miss you too xo

We are so sorry for your loss.  We know  that it is part of life and that she is no longer suffering but when we lose a parent, this can be little comfort.  While eternal life with God is what we all look forward to one day, when a loved one takes that journey before us, it is painful for those of us still here.  We hope that knowing you are being thought of at this very difficult time will help a little as you grieve. Remember what a blessing she was when she was here and how blessed she is now.
