Robert D. Hajduk, age 82, passed away peacefully on February 1, 2025. He was the beloved husband of the late Joan for 25 wonderful years. A devoted father, he is survived by his sons, Robert Hajduk and Christopher (Rhonda) Hajduk; and a loving stepfather to Fred Kulka, Deborah Bates, Nancy (James) Gruda, and the late Michael Kulka. He was a proud grandfather of ten and great-grandfather of one. He was the cherished brother of James Hajduk and the late William Hajduk.
Robert retired from General Motors after 36 years of dedicated service. In his free time, he found joy in dancing, cheering for his favorite local sports teams—the Detroit Tigers, Lions, and Red Wings, and out on the golf course.
A passionate traveler, Robert explored Alaska, Hawaii, and Europe, and enjoyed many cruises alongside his dear cousin, Judy Kilian. Above all else, he treasured his family and the time spent with them, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories.
A visitation for Robert will be held Wednesday, February 5, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Resurrection Funeral Home, 40800 Hayes Road in Clinton Township. A funeral service will occur Thursday, February 6, 2025 at 11:00 AM, at Resurrection Funeral Home. Friends may visit the funeral home on Thursday, February 6, 2025 at 10:00AM.
