Beloved father of John Leykauf and Melissa (Tony) Gemolas; proud grandpa of Lily Gemolas; dear brother of Linda (Dale) Jones; loving uncle of Cheri (Tom) Pelton and Ronald Simon; great-uncle of Holly and Miranda Pelton. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Helen Leykauf.
Robert was born on October 10, 1948 in Detroit, Michigan. He was an avid hunter and retired from the Mt. Clemens Post Office after 42 loyal years of service. Robert adored his granddaughter, Lily, and his nieces and nephews.
The family will greet guests from 4:00pm until 8:00pm on Wednesday, February 19, 2025 at Kaul Funeral Home, 35201 Garfield Rd., Clinton Twp., Michigan. Funeral Services will take place at 11:00am on Thursday, February 20 at the above location. Visitation from 10:30am until time of service. Interment following at Clinton Grove Cemetery, Mt. Clemens, Michigan.
