Robert P. Rosol, Sr., 86, of Clinton Township, MI, died on Friday, December 14, 2018. He leaves behind his beloved wife of 63 years, Joyce (Turkowski) Rosol; his children: Renee Mohan, Bridget Foss and Robert “Robb” Rosol, Jr.; 6 grandchildren: Trenton Mohan, Chantal (Foss) McPike, Keagan, Marquelle and Berrhett Foss and Tollison Rosol, as well as one great-grandchild.
Bob was born on July 2, 1932 in Detroit, Michigan. He was the son of Joseph J. Rosol and Agnes (Koza) Rosol. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Coast Guard and upon honorable discharge from the military, he began a long and successful career in the service division of the Pitney Bowes Corporation.
Following his retirement from Pitney Bowes, he and Joyce traveled extensively across the U.S. in their RV before returning to the Detroit area to enjoy his later years with family and friends. He spent many a weekend “at camp” fishing with his grandson, Trent; attending Knights of Columbus events with his wife, Joyce; and always his Tuesday mornings with his K of C breakfast buddies. Bob was a man of deep love for: his faith (Roman Catholic), his family, his friends, his home and his country. He will be deeply missed by many.
