Robert B. Slater Jr.

Robert B. Slater Jr. passed away on August 25, 2018 at the age of 86. He was the loving husband of Mary Jane Slater for 62 years. He was the beloved father of Robyn (Robert) Panczyk, Lori Preston, Karen (Timothy) Neill, and Catherine (Patrick) Blaszczyk. He was the cherished grandfather of Kimberly (Thomas) Bieniek, the late Derek Neill, Kristen (Jeffrey) Keenan, Kevin (Kristy) Neill, Kara Panczyk, Ryan Preston, Adam Neill, Leah Preston, Candace Preston, and Kyle Blaszczyk. He was the dear great grandfather of Landon, Madden, Nolan, Kylie, Colin, Addison, Evelyn, Aubrey, Blake, Jaxon, Rosalie, Payton and Greyson. He was the caring brother of Geraldine (the late John) Scaduto and the late Shirley (the late Richard) Denk. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation for Robert will take place on Wednesday, August 29, 2018 from 3pm until 9pm at Resurrection Funeral Home, 40800 Hayes Road in Clinton Township. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, August 30, 2018. He will lie instate from 10:30am until the Mass at 11:00am at St. Michael Catholic Church, 40501 Hayes Rd., Sterling Heights.
