Sharon was born on October 14, 1939. She grew up in Robbinsdale, Minnesota, a community that shaped her early years and has remained a meaningful part of her life. It was there that she developed the values, creativity, and strength that would guide her through her life.
After graduating from high school, Sharon continued her education at the University of Minnesota, where she majored in graphic design. She later transferred to the Minneapolis College of Art and Design, graduating with a Bachelors degree in Fine Art. Her dedication to her artistic pursuits reflected both her talent and her thoughtful, expressive spirit.
Sharon was deeply influenced by spiritual music and shared her faith through music by playing the organ during church services. The ministry of music was a reflection of her devotion and brought comfort and inspiration to many.
Sharon is survived by Oliver Halgunseth, her husband of 63 years; her two children, Lori Keith and Mark Halgunseth; and granddaughter Jenn Keith. Sharon will be lovingly remembered for her faith, creativity, kindness, and the love she shared with her family and community.
