Shirley H. Schlitt

Shirley Schlitt age 91 of East China MI died February 6,2016. She was born in Detroit on August 12,1924 to Otto and Helen Forth and married Earl Schlitt who preceded her in death. Shirley has two siblings; Delores, of St Clair Shores, and a brother, Marvin ,who preceded her in death. Shirley is the beloved mother to Gary(Kathy) Schlitt, Kathy(Dr Mark) Topolewski, and James(Tracy) Schlitt. She is also the loving grandmother to Paul(Heather) Schlitt, Gregg(Dawn) Schlitt, Dr. Jeff(Renae) Topolewski, Melissa(Paul) Seifert, Steven(Maria) Schlitt, Kelly Schlitt and Adam Schlitt. Additionally, she is great grandmother to eleven great grandchildren and aunt to numerous nieces and nephews.

Cremation has taken place. Special thanks goes to the excellent care she received from the Staff at Mallards Landing and from Reverence Hospice.

A memorial service will be held February 12, 2016 from noon until three PM at the Kaul Funeral Home, 35201 Garfield Rd, Clinton Township, MI 48035.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Mallards Landing East china MI and to St. John's Reverence Hospice.
