Dearest Aunt Stephanie, Alan, Fran, Terri, Alan,Jr.,Brian, and Laura,
Alan, your mom was always so proud of you and she loved you beyond any words could express.  And now I have seen in your own family, Alan, some of the greatest examples of love I have known.  Your sons and daughters are tributes to you and Fran and also to my beloved Aunt Stephanbie.  I loved seeing Purtell's and St. Agnes Church (where I was baptized) and it brought back the sweetest of memories.  We had our traditions of watching The Miss America Pagent and yelling out the windows and watching you, Alan, eating "Pounchkies" through the window--whenever I needed anything for school I would just hop over to your house and your mom would let me (or my sisters) borrow your world book encyclopdia.  I felt so lucky to feel close to your mom and as my Godmother, I know she felt a responsibility to see that we had a strong faith.  One year your mom and mine and I went on a mission at Presentation for a week--it was life changing for me.  Your mom always had something interesting or loving to say and we girls always liked to get her to laugh. The unending love she gave you, Alan, I can see she helped make you the wonderful person and loving husband and father that you are today.  I don't think I know of any man so understanding and accepting asyou are.I am definately a better person, or strive to be, because of the fine example your mom set, and the way she led her life and the enormous amount of love she had for you and your familly.  She was crazy about her grandchildren and head over heels about Izzy.  When I will think of you, Alan, or see you, I will see your loving Mom, as her qualities surely live on in you and your family.  one of the greatest things about my childhood was living next door to you and your Mom and Dad--and those are sweet memories.  Alan, I've always felt like you were a brother to me and I hope you know how much I love you and hope all the love you have received from your own family and my Mom and from us girls, that it will somehow help during this time of remembering your Mom and all the beautiful things she stood for and was an example of the beauty of love and living a spiritual life. Dear Precious Aunt Stephanie, 
You were like a second mother to me and my God-Mother and you showed me the power of prayer.  You prayed for all of us and my children every night and gave me a beautiful gift of pure love. I will forever be glad that I was able to see you one last time this summer and pray ( you knew all the words )and sing together.  You gave me knitting lessons when I was a young girl every night after dinner...but the best memories are of all of us going to Sunday Mass wwith you and Alan and our numerous trips to Pinconning to see Grandma Kozara.  I know you are in Heaven--Our Lord and Mary and the angels must be thrilled with your coming. My heart aches, now, that you are not here physically but I will carry your love, memory, prayers, and the fun we had all the days of my life. My beloved Aunt Stephanie, I miss you already. You are one of God's best creations ever...humble, kind, generous, happy, loving and greatly loved. I cannot think of growing up without you in that picture...you were part of every single day of my life, and I am so much the better for having been loved by you. I know we borrowed all of your clothing and beautiful dresses for school plays, but even at the time, I wondered who had more fun, us getting them to use or you loaning them to us? You always laughed and said "oh, I think I have just the thing you need." And you did!! We had such fun times and of course you gave me my wonderful cousin Alan, who was my best buddy and will ever be my loving friend. Aunt Stephanie, you are so special, the world hasn't even felt your loss yet. Just knowing a wonderful person like you has been one of the best parts of my life, and to be loved by you has been a gift that I will always treasure and never take for granted. Dear Aunt Stephanie,
You have now joined your loving brother (Chuck) on his birthday November 13.  My dad has been gone 8 years now and has been waiting patiently for you.  We all will miss you. God Bless.

Dearest Aunt Stephanie, we have loved you for so long.  You were our other Mom as we grew up next door on Mark Twain.  You instilled love, honesty, a positive attitude, a valiant work ethic and above all kindness to others.  You helped to give me a wonderful foundation for my faith as a Catholic. I (we) have countless memories with you.  Trips to Pinconning when we were all young and again when we were all grown up.  You always started the trip as you sung, "On the Road Again..."  Your gardens, the grapes, the talks through the windows that you and Mom had.  Mom misses you so much already and so do all three of us girls. the Greckens, Rawhide, Mopar, rubber bands, twistems, and bacon drippings.  So many loving thoughts about you and how you lived your life.  You were inspirational to all.  You raised the finest man that I have ever known: your beloved son, Alan.  How he has adored you along with all of his family.  You touched everyone Aunt Stephanie with your love.  You will always be with each of us.
