Stephen was the founder of Force Inc., a tool and die design firm he established in the early 1970s. He enjoyed many things including deep sea fishing, serving as president of the Wheels of Fortune motorcycle club, being the navigator of a three-man longboat racing team. He also loved planting and caring for his roses and flowers. At age 62, he went skydiving.
Stephen is survived by his wife, Jan of almost 35 years. Together, they shared adventures with friends and family including traveling out west, taking cruises, fun in Alaska and Mexico, plus spending time up north and winters in Florida. Lots of wonderful memories tucked into their 43 years together.
Stephen is also survived by five daughters, Tara (Danny), Lorrie (Mike), Melissa (Joe), Christine, and Rachel. A proud grandfather of nine grandchildren: Ryan (Sara), Breanna (Wayne), Amanda, Jake (Cassy), Isabella (Kevin), Joseph (Lauren), Austin, Kevin, and Trevor. He was also blessed to have six great-grandchildren and one on the way.
Stephen is preceded by his parents: Charles (Doug) and Juanita; brother, Michael D Force; son, Robert D. Force; and former spouse, Judith Stouder.
To his family, Stephen was a husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather that was larger than life. He will be greatly missed.
