With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Stephen John Peters. Devoted husband, father, brother, grandfather, and a kind soul. Stephen Peters passed away on March 24th in his home after a courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by loved ones. Stephen was born on February 12th, 1946 in Cincinnati, Ohio. He was happily married to Eleanor Palazzolo, who was a dedicated nurse and the love of his life for 48 years. They had three children, Chris (Jennifer) Peters, Sean (Kelly) Peters, and Rebecca (Andrew) Pazuchowski. Proud grandfather of Ella, Andrew, Claire, and Sammy. Further survived by his sister Mary Peters. Besides spending time with his family and friends, Stephen had a passion for bird watching, collecting porcupine quill boxes, cheering on grandchildren at sporting events, and enjoying family vacations up north and in Florida. He touched many lives with his generosity and kindness. A visitation for Stephen will be held Tuesday, April 1, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Kaul Funeral Home, 35201 Garfield Ave., Clinton Township, Michigan 48035. An instate will occur Wednesday, April 2, 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at St. Thecla Catholic Church, 20740 S Nunneley Rd, Clinton Township, Michigan 48035. A funeral mass will occur Wednesday, April 2, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at St. Thecla Catholic Church, 20740 S Nunneley Rd, Clinton Township, Michigan 48035. A committal service will occur Wednesday, April 2, 2025 at Resurrection Cemetery, 18201 Clinton River Rd, Clinton Township, Michigan 48038.
