Wayne Ronald Piper passed away on August 10, 2019 at the age of 84. He was the loving husband of the late Judith Piper for 48 years. He was the beloved father of Dawna Piper and the cherished brother of Lana Glaser, Kenny Piper, the late Jimmy Piper, and the late Bob Piper.
One of Wayne’s favorite things to do was watch Tigers baseball. Even when he was a young kid, he would go down to old Tigers Stadium and watch the games. Wayne also enjoyed traveling with his wife. They loved to visit Hawaii and Disney World. After retirement, Wayne and Judith would take yearly trips up to Traverse City.
A Memorial Mass for Wayne will be held on Wednesday, August 21, 2019 at 11:00am at St. Michael Catholic Church, 40501 Hayes Road in Sterling Heights. Friends may visit the church beginning at 10:30am.
