Amanda Brooke Mathias was born at Saint Agnes Hospital in Fresno, CA on March 9th, 1995 and left her temporary home on Thursday January 12, 2023. During her short time on this earth, Amanda was blessed with four beautiful Children, Brooklyn Michelle, Ember-Lynn Rose, Keaton Alexander and Corey Ryan, who she loved beyond measure. Amanda was witty, smart, and loved trying to make people laugh. She had a love for Jesus and accepted Christ as her savior when she was a child.
Growing up, Amanda fell in love with playing the Violin. There were many holidays where she would have a personal concert for her family, showcasing her skills. Some of Amanda’s favorite things were, the color green, frogs, pineapples, tulips, lotuses, and sunflowers (because they were her Memo’s favorite flower). She loved candles, turkey pot pies, and some of her favorite movies were The Grinch, Breakfast at Tiffany’s, and The Wizard of Oz, in which Dorothy was her favorite.
Amanda loved spending time with her family, whether it was doing crafts and cooking with her children, or going shopping with her mom, sisters, and grandpa. Amanda’s life on this earth has left an impact on everyone that knew her. She was a wife, a mother, a daughter, a sister, and a granddaughter and her legacy will live on through her loved ones.
Amanda is survived by her husband, Cooper Mathias; her daughter Brooklyn Mathias; her daughter Ember-Lynn Mathias; her son Keaton Alexander Mathias Ortiz; and her son Corey Mathias; her father John Arias; her step mother Fernanda Arias; her mother Kim Ortiz and her father Alex Ortiz; her brother Tyler Arias, her sister Marissa Belardinelli, her sister Alexandra Ortiz, her sister Alina Ortiz and her sister Arleigh Ortiz; her grandfather Dan Baker, her grandfather David M. Arias, her grandmother Blanca Arias and her grandmother Helen Dieling.
A Visitation for Amanda will be held Wednesday, February 8, 2023 from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Boice Funeral Home, 308 Pollasky Avenue, Clovis, California 93612.
A Graveside Service will occur Thursday, February 9, 2023 at 9:30 a.m. at Clovis Cemetery, 305 North Villa Avenue, Clovis, California 93612.
