Bill was a devoted husband to his beloved wife, Beatrice Jones. Together, they recently celebrated an extraordinary 80 years of marriage—a testament to their enduring love and commitment. He was a loving and dedicated father to his sons, Stephen and Philip, and took great pride in his role as a grandfather and great-grandfather.
He is survived by his wife, Beatrice Jones of Madera, California; his son, Philip Jones of Madera, California; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, Stephen Jones.
A faithful Christian, Bill was a longtime member of Madera Baptist Church, where he found great joy in fellowship and service. His faith was an important part of his life and guided him in all that he did.
Bill worked in the propane industry for 38 years with Vangas Company. He often said he never had a day when he did not look forward to going to work, reflecting his strong work ethic and positive spirit.
In his younger years, Bill loved boating with family and friends, creating many lifelong memories at Lake Shasta. He and Beatrice also shared a passion for travel, visiting many countries together over the years. They especially enjoyed cruising and went on 38 cruises, many alongside family and dear friends.
Bill will be deeply missed by his family and the many friends whose lives he touched, along with his infectious smile. While he leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories, his family finds comfort in knowing he is now at peace and a joyful addition to heaven.
