Edward Harvey Jenkins

Edward Harvey Jenkins, born on August 11, 1935 in Kansas City, Missouri, passed away on March 14, 2023 in Fresno, California at the age of 87. He lived a full life and had a lot of love and laughter to share along the way. Ed was a veteran of the United States Navy, but he was also a man of many talents. He had a great sense of humor and was known for his quick wit and ability to make people laugh. His family and friends will always remember the joy he brought to their lives with his humor and positive outlook. Ed loved games, and was especially fond of playing the lottery - and while he may never had won a lottery ticket, he sure won the lottery with how many friends and family loved him. Ed was preceded in death by his first wife, and the mother of his children, Sue, with whom he shared 33 wonderful years of marriage. After the passing of Sue, he was lucky enough to find love a second time with his wife, Diana Jenkins, with whom he shared 22 years of marriage. He was a devoted father to his five children, Sherry Jackson, Corinne Martinez, Linda Brown, Doug Jenkins and Mike Jenkins. Ed was also a loving grandfather to 8 grandchildren and great-grandfather to 12 great-grandchildren. When he wasn't cracking jokes, Ed loved spending time with his family, tinkering in his garage, and playing a round of golf. He was a man of integrity, honesty, and unwavering loyalty to his loved ones. He always put his family first and was always there to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. The family requests in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the US Navy Memorial Foundation or the American Heart Association. REST IN PEACE, WE WILL MISS YOU DEEPLY, AND YOU WILL FOREVER REMAIN IN OUR HEARTS.
