Words cannot be spoken to justify you being taken from us way too soon. While your words to me didn’t have to be constant, they had inspired me to sail my life into a better direction from a simple suggestion. While these words were spoken to me in confidence, so shall their memory remain.
A persons worth on this earth isn’t measured in time, it’s measured in what you did with the time you had.

Im still in denial … still so hard to accept you are no longer here … You we’re a lot more than an aunt to me , you were my oldest sister , those numerous phone calls at any time day or night I miss them so much I still find myself wanting to dial your number thinking I will hear your beautiful voice and make me laugh as you always did… I thank you for helping me raise my JJ I appreciate those days when you took him under your wing cuz he was being a butt and it never failed he always came back better because you had that power to make people feel good always!!!  I miss you hella it hurts so much !!! I will always have the memories we created … those no one can take away .. I’m sure you are in a better place … give my dad and gramma a huuuuuuge hug for me…. I’m sure we will see each other again !! 

Our beautiful Tia Estela, the one with the voice of an angel, gained her angel wings.  Being only 7 years older than me, and being that she was the youngest of my Mom’s siblings, we were super close.  
She was more than just my Tia, she was my big sister.  Throught my life, she was there for all of my BIG events, & many of the small, every day ones too.  She watched over me, protected me, and checked in on me when I moved to Fresno to attend college.  She took me with her to many of the places she sang at with her band.  We even lived together as roommates for awhile.  She was also one of the first to meet , & approve of Jesus (hubby of 26yrs).  There wasn’t anything I couldn’t tell her, we shared, and kept all of our secrets -like sisters often do.
I was one of the first she told when she found out she was pregnant.  And she asked me to be there in the delivery room when her very own “Angel Baby” was born. She asked Jesus & I to be Angel’s  Godparents when she was baptized.  It was an honor to be chosen to participate in all of those events.
When I was pregnant with Da’Gorgeouses, I remember telling her that I was craving a margarita.  I told her after the girls were born I was going to be sure to have one, even if it was just a small sip.  When the girls came early (super early) she showed up at my hospital room with a flower arrangement in a cool large sized margarita vase!  I have no clue where she found it, but it sure brought a smile to my face at a time when I really needed it.  She laughed and said “It’s not a margarita, but it’s the best I could do!”
All major holidays and birthdays were celebrated with her there.  Her loss has left a huge hole, but I have faith that she is at peace, she is no longer in pain & that I will see her again someday.
Love you Stel, sorry it took me so long to write this, it’s just so hard to accept that you’re no longer here.  Sing your heart up there for God!  Until we meet again—Love you to Infinity & Beyond! ❤️🙏🏽😘🙏🏽❤️


I met you in class you 156 instantly I knew we would become good friends! I admired, your style, firm, didn’t take no drama from our kids. Your beautiful voice loved when you sang to us. I was sad to see you move on to another job . JJC wasn’t the same without you there, I wondered were I would get my snacks from🤪 Mrs Hernandez I really, really miss you 😭😭 I would love when you saw me and said’ hey come here and see want I got ( meaning food) I just can’t believe your gone! Love and miss you ❤️

     Estela was a sister-friend. Estela very generous with her time, money and heart ♥️.  We spent lots of time either by texting, calling, visiting, eating, dancing, or going out gambling. Estela was the glue to our friend circle, she was the one that text everyone to get together.
     Estela and I were neighbors for many years at the JJC   She worked hard and diligently to do her best for her students. The students loved her 💕.  
      Estela has left us way too soon and will be greatly missed by her family and friends, especially by me. 😢

I am a better person for knowing you, Estela! I will never forget your infectious smile and laugh. You touched so many lives, and your impact will never be forgotten. 

Although you are technically my Tia, I am honored that you called me BFF.  I remember your beautiful smile, infectious laughter and your awesome voice. I am a better person for knowing you and will always regret we did not see each other more often.  The summer of 1982 brought us together and I will cherish those days of cruising the strip in Porterville and dancing the night away , until we meet again BFF shine bright like a diamond and know that you made my and others life brighter just by being Estela.
My condolences and continued prayers for comfort and peace for Angel, Elvira, Esther and Richard.

I remember all those wonderful times my sister and I went to hear Estela sing in Fresno.  Each time we went we enjoyed her great voice, her amazing company and her joyous laughter.  

Estela, you have given me so many beautiful memories, I felt myself around you and I thank you for the precious gift of your time.

I will miss you, much.

I have many fond memories of Estela, she was a Kind and generous person. I will miss her and will cherish the memories I have.
