I only met Garth one time. It was two days before he passed away when I was at my son Todd‘s house on Saturday  and Garth and someone else came to pick up, I believe it was a sofa.  I knew Garth through  the eyes of my son Todd. He always talked about Garth.. Garth this and Garth that.  And when Garth passed that following Monday,   Todd called me and was devastated.  He could not believe it as I’m sure everyone who knew him could not believe it.  He spent a lot of time with Garth and loved him and I know he’s still  missing him.

Funniest guy I ever worked with.  Mcdonalds in 92 was better having      
 known Garth. His extra pickles on  his burger comes to memory like 10 on a burger. Lost touch with you when I left.  Wish you peace until I see you again brother.

I think this is the only time I ever saw you at rest. You were always on the go. Handling coas. Managing your business, and always helping a friend. You gave me great business advise, and were there when things went bad. Remember when the lights went out? You pulled your truck up and shined your lights through the window so I could stay open. You did so much, for so many. I miss you buddy. We all do. But we'l remember your kindness and pass it on. Keep those headlights shining for us!

Uncle Garth, I miss your muzzle kisses, hugs and fur-flying petting.  I miss how you never cared that my fur got all over your pants or that my breath was stinky.  You were a true "dog wisperer" with unconditional love.  I will miss you always and forever!

The "Salty Crew" will miss all the adventures, your infectious smile and unrelenting energy to enjoy life to the fullest.

GARTH WE MISS YOU SOOOOOOO MUCH!  The "Ranchos Riff Raff" will miss you deeply!  This is a great loss for our community and every one that knew you!!!

Barbara  and family, I was so and still am saddened and shocked  by Garth's passing.  When Todd called and was crying I could not grasp what he was saying.  I had just seen Garth the Saturday before his passing  at Todd's and we talked briefly about Monty and Julie's deaths and I told him that I knew Julie.  He said he had to meet that day with her son, daughter and brother.  Garth was so sweet and kind whenever he saw me; he would put his arm around me  and ask how I was doing.  I don't know what Todd is going to do without Garth, it was always "Garth this, Garth that."  Todd has lost a very special friend, someone he could rely on, trust and laugh with. I am so, so sorry for your loss.  He was special and from what Todd tells me, he was kind and considerate to everyone he met.  If there is anything I can ever help with, I am only a phone call away.

Garth taught me a lot, treated me like family and was always there when I needed help. He showed me how to be a man who takes care of business. I love Garth, and his family. All the priceless memories shared the bond that was created. For the half decade I knew Garth, He was a great mentor and Friend. I’ll be missing you sir.
