Kenney's life was a testament to self-reliance, a strong work ethic, and his devotion to his family.
He will be remembered for his unique blend of endearing stubbornness and a playful, flirtatious demeanor that brought smiles to those around him. Kenney possessed a remarkable ability to fix anything, a talent that was often put to good use during his cherished hobby of restoring antique vehicles.
Kenney's career path was as varied as his interests. He proudly served his country with two tours in the military, followed by nearly a decade of law enforcement. He then transitioned to a career in truck driving before retiring as a custodian for Clovis Unified School District.
Kenney leaves behind a loving family, including his wife, Elsa Kenner, her children: Brian Kenner and wife Terri, daughter: Sandra Sosa and husband Berto, son: Humberto Cruz, son: Edgar Kenner and wife Dana, son: Kenney Jr., and daughter: Leeann and husband Daniel, along with several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Kenney's love for his family was a constant, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
A Celebration of Life for Kenney will be held Saturday, November 23, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Boice Funeral Home, 308 Pollasky Avenue, Clovis, California 93612.
