Lawrence E. Tinder

Larry was born in Chicago, Illinois. Larry knew that at the age of ten that he wanted to be a dentist. He attended Joliet Junior College, University of Illinois of Dentistry, Loyola and DePaul Universities. At the age of twenty three, Larry had eight years of College with a B.S. and D.D.S. degrees. In April of 1960, Larry enlisted in the Army Dental Corp. He was stationed at the Pentagon, Walter Reed, Korea, and The Presidio of Monterey. He served ten years in the Army Dental Corp., ending his career as a Lt. Colonel.

We want to thank the Veterans Administration for the loving care that he received throughout the years as a patient, with special thanks to Dr. Ginier and Dr. Adams.

Larry is preceded in death by his infant son, Scott Cameron Tinder.

He is survived by his wife and best friend, Pam Tinder of Clovis; and his sons, Mark Tinder of Brentwood, Ryan Tinder of Fresno, and Onnie Chapman and his fiancé Janae of Fresno; and his grandson, Brayden Tinder. He is also survived by his brother, Chuck Tinder and his wife Barbara of Las Vegas; and all of his nieces and nephews, and cousins.

A graveside service will be held at San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery. Gustine, California.
