My memories of you and our lives of course include are get togethers at Grandpa's and Grandma's house.  And your racing at Madera, you did love it.  You are now with the family in heaven and we shall all meet again in God's kingdom.  He wrapped you in his arms and took away your pain.  You are missed cousin.

My Next Memory:
When we were little Dad took us to Friday night races at Kearney Bowl.  We would watch Marshall Sargeant, Al Pombo, Clyde Prickett and more.  Is this where your love of racing began? This memory is really about a time we shared as teenagers with Clyde Prickett's son Art.  I don't remember how this night got started but it involved you, Susan Zumwalt, Art, and me.  We decided to drive to Millerton Lake in your little green Volkswagon Bug. Remember back then anything beyond Blackstone and Shaw was basically country so it seemed like a much longer trip then.  When we got to the lake, you decided to take the front seats out so you and Susan could sit in them on the top of the mountain and look at the stars.  The seats were easy to take out, they just slid off the rails.  But, when it was time to go you couldn't get the seats back in no matter how hard you and Art tried.  Of course we didn't have a flashlight.  So the plan was we would sit the seats in the front and Art and I would hold them up with our hands and knees.  I don't know why I was the one holding up your seat but I was.  Do you know how hard it is to hold a seat up so someone can drive, especially a stick shift?  It seemed like every time you tried to shift you would fall back in my lap and pop the clutch.  Boy did you yell at me all the way to town.  We had to go a long way down Blackstone to find a station that had a mechanic on duty who could help.  Also the only reason we found that station was because of the police officer who pulled you over for crazy driving told us where to go.  I think the only reason you didn't get a ticket was because he was laughing too hard to write!!  The mechanic was just as bad he helped but he was laughing so hard and wanting to know why the seats were out in the first place as he gave us strange stares.  He thought it was so funny he didn't even charge us, he just told us it was time to go home to our parents!! 



One of my scariest memories with my brother was the time i went for a ride with him as a kid in our fathers 1970 Ranchero GT. I think that the speedometer maxed out at 140 mph and it was pegged! I will miss my brother so much! I love you brother...♥️

To all of Allen's family  so sorry to hear about Allen passing. I am so glad I was able to see him at the family reunion in Turlock. My fondest memory of Allen is when he took on a go kart ride as a kid in Caruthers. I think we went 100 +mph down the old county road. I so wish all you guys peace love at this difficult time. Allen will be so greatly missed Miss all u guys so much. 


Have great memories of Lloyd racing supers and midgets especially at Madera Speedway.He was always awesome fast.Right up there with the best of them.My prayers go out to the entire family.🙏🏁🇺🇸

There are so many memories to share after all I had 63 years of you being my big brother.  I remember you sitting on me and tickling me until, while you know what! I remember our 4-H adventures, what about you teaching me to drive with Dad's old 1960 Falcon Ranchero.  We drove around and around the dirt road on the ranch thinking Dad would never know. Boy we were stupid Dad came home and took one look at that dirty dusty Ranchero and we were Busted!!! I remember when Glenn Calhoun and I decided to race motorcycles down Polk.  Of course I drove yours without your permission.  I probably would have got away with it if that stupid mean dog down the street hadn't decided to chase us and I totally wrecked! Glenn was such a gentleman and pushed your bike back and said he wrecked it and I was on his, but I think the road rash all over my body gave it away!! Boy were you mad!! I was in so much trouble.  There are so many memories, I haven't even started on the Volkswagon Bug and Millerton Lake! That will be next time!!

You lived with us for a short while and we went to school together. We grew up together.  I will miss you my cousin. I know you are in a better place with no more pain. I am sure it was a wonderful homecoming  with all of the family in heaven .  Glad you are at peace. Love you.
