Mary Lou MacLean

Mary Lou MacLean was born August 13, 1929, in Tulsa, Ok. She passed away on Thursday, October 27, 2011, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was married to Lawrence Johansen and raised three children. She worked as Faculty Cafeteria Manager at Fresno High School for 12 years. In 1983 she married Bob MacLean. After his death in 1993 she returned to the area to be close to her family. She was a loving Mother, Grandmother and Friend. She was honored as the longest volunteer at the Kaiser Permanente Medical Center Gift Shop. She is a member of Lord of Life Lutheran Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert MacLean; brother, Olin Brown; and sister, Jean Lewis. Mary Lou is survived by her Brother Jack Brown, her daughters, Lynn Howell and her husband Tom, Pam Ball and her husband Daryl; and her son, Sonny Johansen and his wife Debbie; grandchildren, Katrine, Jamie, Scott and Jennifer; great-grandchildren, Marissa, Tommy, Nathan and Megan; great-great granddaughter, Lexi; and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members. A Funeral Service will be held at Boice Funeral Home on Saturday, November 5, 2011, at 8:30 a.m., with graveside to follow.
